Based on current oil and electricity prices, new energy heavy-duty trucks save over 20% in transportation costs per ton kilometer compared to fuel heavy-duty trucks.

       Meanwhile, in the past two years, various battery companies have targeted the potential of the new energy commercial vehicle market and increased their research and development of commercial vehicle power batteries. They have successively launched 300kWh-600kWh high-capacity, 7000+ultra long service life heavy-duty truck batteries, which have significantly improved the range, fast charging, cycling, and safety performance of new energy heavy-duty trucks, greatly improving the user experience of new energy heavy-duty trucks.
      In addition, under the pressure of policies such as the "dual carbon strategy" target, the application and demand for high-efficiency and energy-saving new energy heavy-duty trucks have also begun to rise in high energy consuming fields such as steel, petrochemicals, cement, coal-fired power plants, ports, and urban construction. The trend is to purchase new energy heavy-duty trucks in batches and on a large scale to gradually replace traditional fuel heavy-duty trucks.
       From the perspective of car companies, XCMG Group, Sany Group, FAW Jiefang, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, Yutong Group, Shaanxi Automobile Group, Remote New Energy Commercial Vehicle, Foton, Dongfeng, Jianghuai, Zoomlion, Beiben Heavy Duty Truck and other car companies have all shown impressive performance in the field of new energy heavy-duty trucks in 2024. Among them, XCMG Group and Sany Group both sold over 14000 new energy heavy-duty trucks in 2024.
It is worth mentioning that the sales of new energy heavy-duty trucks have surged, which has also driven the installation of power batteries for heavy-duty trucks and a significant increase in the shipment of heavy-duty truck batteries by battery companies.
