On February 10, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and seven other departments jointly released the "Action Plan for High-Quality Development of New Energy Storage Manufacturing", outlining a clear blueprint for the development of the energy storage industry. The plan clearly proposes that by 2027, China's new energy storage manufacturing will achieve high-end, intelligent, and green development goals, forming 3-5 ecosystem-leading enterprises with international competitiveness.
      Against this policy backdrop, the "17th China International Battery Fair (CIBF2025)" hosted by the China Association of Chemical and Physical Power Sources Industry will grandly open in Shenzhen from May 15 to May 17. This exhibition is not only a platform to showcase the latest scientific achievements but also an important opportunity to promote cooperation and exchange across the entire industry chain.

       According to data released by the National Energy Administration, by the end of 2024, the cumulative installed capacity of new energy storage projects already built and operated nationwide reached an impressive 73.76 GW/168 GWh, increasing more than 130% compared to the end of 2023. Moreover, the newly added installed capacity in 2024 alone surpassed pumped storage for the first time, reaching 73.8GW, marking that new energy storage is reshaping the power storage industry landscape.
